The Research Symposium is held each spring and offers an exciting opportunity for enrolled Illinois State graduate and undergraduate students to present what they have learned through their research, scholarship, and creative endeavor to a large audience in a professional setting. Poster sessions are typically in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center with oral presentations at various locations around campus.
All students enrolled at the University and engaged in research, scholarship, and creative activity under the direction of a faculty mentor are eligible to register.
The Graduate School has partnered with Miner Library to create an online version of the University Research Symposium. The display will open on April 27. Oral presentations will begin on Zoom on April 25. It is free and open to the public.
Nearly 100 abstracts, posters, and power point presentations of undergraduate and graduate students will be available.
Another exciting opportunity will be the oral and panel presentations of student’s research and creative work via Zoom sessions on April 25 and 28 in the Department of Physics and the School of Theatre and Dance.
All are encouraged to join the oral presentation Zoom sessions and to visit ISUReD to show support of the students. A program book will be available at the opening.
