The Research Symposium is held each spring and offers an exciting opportunity for enrolled Illinois State graduate and undergraduate students to present what they have learned through their research, scholarship, and creative endeavor to a large audience in a professional setting. Poster sessions are typically in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center with oral presentations at various locations around campus.
All students enrolled at the University and engaged in research, scholarship, and creative activity under the direction of a faculty mentor are eligible to register.
Attention Students: If you are planning to use an on-campus resource to have your poster printed, please be sure to check the deadlines for these services at the various businesses on campus to be sure your poster can be printed in time for the Research Symposium. Don't wait until the last minute!
Printing services available on-campus include: The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology and University Printing Services. If you choose to use the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology for the printing and or laminating of your symposium poster, be sure to read and follow the guidelines and deadlines for poster submission by visiting the CTLT website.
