2013 Illinois State University Research Symposia

UNIVERSITY - WIDE SHOWCASES OF STUDENT RESEARCH,
SCHOLARSHIP AND CREATIVE ENDEAVOR

 

Held each spring in the Bone Student Center and at various locations around campus, The Research Symposia offer an exciting opportunity for enrolled Illinois State graduate and undergraduate students to present what they have learned through their research, scholarship and creative endeavor to a large audience in a professional setting.

All students enrolled at the University and engaged in research, scholarship and creative endeavor under the direction of a faculty mentor are eligible to register.

2013 GUIDELINES

Please follow these guidelines when preparing posters for the Symposia.

2013 Abstracts

Instructions for locating an abstract:

 

Easily locate a presenter by pressing the CTRL and "F" keys on your computer keyboard and typing in the last name of the student in the box that appears then press "Enter". You may need to press the "Enter" key more than once to find the name for which you are searching.

FYI: The abstract listing contains two sections. The individual presentations are listed first followed by the group presentations. The abstracts for individual projects are in alphabetical order according to the last name of presenter. Group projects are alphabetized accordiing to the primary presenter's last name.

SYMPOSIA RESEARCH ASSISTANCE GRANT

Graduate or undergraduate students are eligible to apply for assistance funds to help them carry out a planned project of research, scholarship and creative endeavor for the Symposia or to present their planned Symposium project at a refereed conference or juried exhibition in their field.
