Graduate Curriculum Committee

GCC is the venue for proposals for new and revised graduate degrees, sequences and certificates, new and revised 400 and 500 level courses, and requests for editorial revisions to the Graduate Catalog.

Proposers are invited and encouraged to contact the Director of Graduate Studies to discuss preliminary ideas for new or revised programs or courses. She is available to help you frame proposals to meet all university requirements, read drafts, and make suggestions to help you navigate the curricular review process as smoothly as possible.

Requirements, instructions, definitions, checklists and cover sheets for new and revised graduate programs and 400 and 500 level courses . New or revised 300 level courses for graduate credit are proposed through UCC’s online system at http://www.registrar.ilstu.edu/ucc/

NEW! EDITORIAL CHANGE INSTRUCTION < link > Information on how to request minor edits to graduate program descriptions or 400 and 500 level course descriptions that do not require a formal proposal, log of editorial changes approved for the next Graduate Catalog

Requests for editorial changes to 300 level courses should be directed to UCC as described at https://www.registrar.ilstu.edu/ucc/Editorial-Changes-to-Catalog-List.pdf UCC will review the request at the undergraduate level and forward it to the Graduate School for final approval at the graduate level

MATERIALS FEES are not instituted or changed via curricular proposal.
